Color Chart for tubing:
1) Green or red the intake from your homes water line
2)Black tube: The waste water from RO system
3) Yellow or Blue line or spout: The output of purified water
Installation:
Attach the greet or red line (intake) to a kitchen sink adapter or garden hose adapter.
The black line (waste) can be slipped down the drain. This water should not be used for anything.
Attach the blue or yellow line (purified) to container of choce or spout (push in).
It is critical to flush the system prior to use.
Do not connect the membrane housing feed tubing to the membrane housing.
Connect the red tube tot the water feed. Let the water flow through the sediment and carbon filter for 5 minutes until the water is clear. Than insert the membrane in to the membrane housing and connect the tube to the membrane housing. Let the water run for2 hours before using the water.
Disconnect the tube going into the end of the membrane housing on the end that has only one tube going into it. Unscrew the end cap of the membrane housing. Membranes must remain moist at all times once installed. If the membrane is going to be reinstalled it should be put in a zip lock baggie of RO water and set into the refrigerator (not the freezer) . Insert the new membrane in the direction of the arrow on the membrane. The end with the two small "O" rings goes in first on the regular, industry standard membranes. The end with the large rubber ring (brine seal) goes in last next to the removable end cap. Be sre that the center tube of the membrane is seating into the receiver in the bottom of the housing. Push firmly! Screw the end cap back on and reconnect the tube to the membrane housing.
Warning !!! The installer is responsible for any leaks resulting from installation of tubing or related fittings. The installer must check over the entire system completely while under pressure to ensure system is not leaking and is functioning properly. Liability resulting from failure to check for leaks under pressure is the sole responsibility of the installer.
Maintenance:
If the unit is dirty, clean it with soft cloth warm water and mild soap
-Do not immerse in hot water
-Do not use scouring powder
